The meeting was called to order by President Bill Dunlevy at 7:00 after our monthly potluck.  31  attended.

Minutes and Tres. Report were read and approved.

Old business –Sportsman Show  15 members volunteered to teach panning at the Alaska Mining and Diving booth.  AMA provided salted bags for $5.00.  Jim Troxell sold generators and panning kits. 

Outdoor week will be May 10- 13th.  There is a sign-up sheet for this annual event.

Crow Creek Outing – Memorial day weekend at the mine.  Sunday potluck  is Sunday around 2-3:00.  Chapter will provide meat.  Sign-up sheet is provided.

New Business – The extension Service will have a day long panning class in Palmer on Saturday.  Fee of $75.00.  There is a limited registration.  Meg Burgett is coordinating this class.  It will be in the blue Room of the Extension farm buildings. 

Announcements – On the First Friday, May 6thf, Stephan Fine Arts will feature Andy Hehnlin.  He is an artist/gold miner who uses ground up minerals and egg yolk to make his paints.  This event is from 5:10 P.M.

K.C. Jones has dive suit hangers and a holster for sale.

There was an introduction of all members at the end of the meeting.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:40.
