The meeting was called to order by Pres. Bill Dunlevy at 7:00 after our monthly potluck.  39 attended, 11 were new.

Minutes and Tres. Reports were read and approved as read.

Old Business-Chicken – Three members plan to attend this 4th of July weekend.  Linda will check with them about sending prizes.

Crow Creek Outing – We had a good outing and good weather.  Jim reported finding 1 penny weight in an hour.  Nate and Kate were great hosts.  We used their new grill and the pavilion building.  A burn ban was in force so no open fires were not allowed in the campground.

New Business –summer meetings- Bill and Jim will be gone for the summer.  Andre’ Macias volunteered to step in for the summer.

Announcements. –Andre’ suggested we consider using a web site to connect with others who would like to rock hound or go panning this summer.

Our long time member and Outdoor Weekend instructor, Craig Casner, passed away last week.  His services were last Tuesday.  Several members attended and flowers were sent.

Greg Durocher announced the map store will close Oct. 31st.  Maps will be available on-line, but good printed maps can still be found at the store.

Ken Williams is selling his 2 ½” dredge/highbanker , with hoses and attachments for $1300
