The meeting was called to order by Pres. Bill Dunlevy at 7:00 after our monthly potluck.  31 attended, 5 were new.

Minutes and Tres. Reports were read and approved as read.  Minutes were taken by Sandi Garcia.

Old Business-Chicken – Discussed Access Problem.  Mike Busby has an agreement with Doyon Corp. for access.

Outdoor Week – Bill Dunlevy gave a report about Outdoor Week.  Our group has participated since 2005-2006.  We need to get children interested.  This activity is needed to keep “gold “ interests alive.

Crow Creek Outing – Bill talked about the outing .  The Chapter will provide meat for the potluck.  We need to know how many will be attending…This year should be very good if the weather cooperates.

New Business –None this month.

Announcements. – Bill Dunlevy explained how dredging works with no detriment to fish and spawning areas.  Jim explained how the “environment police” are trying to shut down access all over for dredging.  Jess Werner raised questions on how many EPA people up here watching miners.  He was told to watch for “EPA” by the Fish & Game office.

Bill Dunlevy told the story of his first excursion in California on a small stream and the gold found..

Meeting was adjourned at 8:00.
