The meeting was called to order by Vice- Pres. Jim Troxell 7:00 after our monthly potluck.  17 attended.

Minutes and Tres. Reports were read and approved as read.

Old Business-Roger King helped with detector instruction at Cabella’s and gave Chapter info to customers.

K.C Jones attended the Cache Creek auction.  Barrent Strandberg gave us information about the legal status of the auction.  He said plans for a large scale mine in the area are progressing.

New Business-Motion made by Sadie Troxell and second by Brian Webber that the Dec. meeting be cancelled passed unanimously.  We will have our regular meeting next in January.

Announcements – Barrent spoke about new regulations about suction dredging. Discharge should be 50 feet out of the creek on the muskeg.  He encouraged us to use the Arlis library.  There are unpublished reports from the Kenai.  He offered to help us access the library.  It is located on the UAA campus.

November 30th is the BLM and Forest Service deadline for renewing Federal mining claims.
