The meeting was called to order by Vice-Pres. Bill Dunlevy at 7:00.  19 members attended.  2 were new members.

Minutes and Tres. Report were read and approved.

Old Business-Bill Dunlevy opened a discussion on the need for storage space for rental or loan to state visitors and members.

Colorado Creek – New members were informed about the July outing to support access to the claim.  The Forest Service is requiring a plan of operation and restricting access.

Announcements –Bill Dunlevy thanked the group for attending Glenna’s memorial service.  130 friends and family attended.

The Alaska Miners Association is having a Convention at the Sheraton Hotel November 5-11.  The Chugach Gem and Mineral Society will have space there starting at 5:00 Fri. thru the weekend.

Steve Geisking described the flood on Willow Creek.  His home was flooded and an out building destroyed.  His septic system needs to be replaced.  The creek bed has been changed and new mining opportunities are open.  He bought 3 Claims on Willow Creek.  Steve said we may have a spring time outing on his claims.  The whole mining potential has changed with the flood.

Our officers will be out of state in November.  Members voted to cancel the meeting.

The next meeting will be on December 20th, 2012
